The Balinger Adlerbraeu brand has existed originally for dcades. The brewery went bankrupt in the 90s, the brand taken over by Schlossbrauerei Haigerloch (Haigerlocher Schlossbraeu) and brewed in their facilities. When the Schlossbrauerei seized operations, their brewhouse sold to Africa, a well known Stuttgart brewery took the name/brand but soon after phased it out.
Back in 2018, the brand was revived with the release of a new Helles lager. Time will tell where it heads to.
